About Us

Hy-Miler began in 1976 as an independent retail gasoline station that was not associated with a major oil company. The idea was to present the best possible price of gasoline without sacrificing quality, while increasing convenience. At that time, the gasoline business was beginning to merge with the convenience store business as more auto repair bays in gasoline stations were closing. The consumer began to appreciate the convenience of "one stop shopping" and picking up food items while refueling their car at a Hy-Miler.
District Petroleum Products, Inc. is the wholesaling fuel distributor behind Hy-Miler and in 2001 celebrated 50 years of business. District Petroleum owns and operates Hy-Miler convenience stores. Shell Oil has always been the largest fuel supplier of District Petroleum. In 2002 District Petroleum partnered with BP/Amoco fuels and now the company offers Shell, BP, Citgo and their own branded Hy-Miler fueling locations.
Hy-Miler has constantly evolved over the years keeping up with the changing consumer demands. We provide convenient, easy in, easy out sites with the products and services that our customers want. Some of these services are ATM's, Krispy Kreme donuts, Hy-Miler coffee programs, Bob Evans hot dogs, car washes plus all of quality product categories you normally find at a Hy-Miler.
